Lab 02 about power plants/plant power is due tonight!

Class focused on distortion—coordinate systems, projections, and a little bit of legend troubleshooting.

Wednesday, 9/9/26: Mostly open lab

Quick recap on projections and coordinate systems via two short activities:

• Projection face: We’ll do this one together
• Rhumb lines: I’ll just show you this but feel free to try it out on your own

Then, open lab time for Lab 03, which is due on Monday 9/14.

Also: reminder that Geographers in Action will be held from 5-9pm tonight in Jepson 118!
