Week 04

Cartography

Monday, 9/14/26: Data classification and open lab

Lab 03 is due tonight!

In class, we will have a lecture about data classification and making your data work for you. There should be time to wrap up Lab 3 if you are still working on that, and I’ll introduce your first GISketch assignment.

Download this .zip file to follow along with the in-class activity about data classification and table/spatial joins.

Wednesday, 9/16/26: Cartography and design

We’ll kick off today with the first of five curation group presentations; then, we’ll have a lecture on cartography and design.
